Commercial Renovation Project – Mattress Firm, 1722 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia

Santech Construction provides full-service commercial and residential construction throughout Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania suburbs. We recently completed a full renovation of a retail space at 1722 Chestnut Street for a new Mattress Firm location.

This comprehensive renovation covered approximately 8,280 square feet of space, including the basement, first and second floors, and the third floor.

Project Scope:

Santech served as the General Contractor in Penn valley, overseeing every aspect of the project—from initial demolition to final finishes. Our scope included:

  • Demolition and tear-out
  • Electrical and lighting
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Drywall and carpentry
  • Flooring and painting
  • Finish work and final touch-ups

We first completed a full renovation for the landlord, followed by a tailored build-out for the tenant, Mattress Firm.
